How OpenType (OTF) to WOFF conversion works
OpenType (OTF) parse and rights check → fidelity diagnostics → WOFF write and verify
Reading OpenType (OTF)
OTF input is accepted for conversion after CFF or TrueType outlines and every fidelity-sensitive table are diagnosed.
Creating WOFF
WOFF output preserves compatible sfnt tables and license metadata in a webfont container.
Font rights and output integrity
Only convert fonts you have the right to use. Restricted, bitmap-only, missing, malformed, or conflicting embedding rights block output, and required license metadata must survive result verification.
OTF is an input-only format
LIHA Tools can read OpenType fonts with CFF or TrueType outlines, but it does not create OTF files. Choose TTF or a supported webfont target after reviewing the fidelity diagnostics.
